Wahgoshig First Nation

Water First visited Joseph Kennedy Public School in the spring of 2016 for a variety of in-class workshops, with students learning about freshwater habitats, watersheds, turbidity, water testing and water pollution.

Students in grades 4 to 6 got outside and planted 500 white cedar, white pine, and white spruce seedlings at Wahgoshig First Nation around the water treatment plant, a lake, and other locations.
